Star Classic Service Manual Library
I recently ordered & received this DVD and it will NOT run on 64 bit versions of Vista; only the 32bit versions. This is due to the use of a very old 2001 version of an Autodesk diagram viewer which cannot run on 64bit systems and causes the overall DVD database application not to run. So far MB Star TekInfo acknowledges this problem without resolution & I'll likely have to return the DVD for refund. I'm sure this problem is not limited to the 129 DVD's but probably true for all the new version DVD's for all chassis. 1) M-B USA no longer issues the DVD, but advised that the DVD is sold by your local M-B Dealership.
2) Local Dealerships can no longer sell this DVD, as the DVD is no longer available. 3) The good news is that the exact, same DVD is being offered by an eBay Yes, thanks for the update. It's too bad that MB has not chosen to supply the 129 owner with additional copies of it's last version of the STAR Service Manual Library for the Model 129 on DVD, p/n P-2700-129-07 for $88.00 USD. There are several 129 CD/DVD repair versions being sold that are not as good as 07 like it's predecessor (p/n P-2700-129- 04) which was not as user friendly. 'FINE PRINT: While this manual does not have to be “installed” to function, there are a couple third-party plug-ins that are sometimes required to insure 100% functionality. We do provide instructions for all necessary plug-ins, however, the installation of said plug-ins can sometimes be a little tricky.

They are also selling the Workshop Information System (WIS) version as a 129 Service and Repair Manual. I found the install to be a problematic and getting around the software difficult unlike the last release of the STAR Service Manual which is very user friendly. So Buyer Beware when ordering any of these CD/DVD on the Internet.
